The Methodist Liaison Office in Jerusalem seeks to address and coordinate the needs of global Methodists seeking a just and lasting peace for all in Israel/Palestine.
As a result of the continuing occupation of the West Bank and the blockade of Gaza, combined with the heightened international awareness on the region of Palestine and Israel, the Methodist Liaison Office has taken on international advocacy with Methodists globally. Methodists around the world are demonstrating a growing interest in becoming more involved in the issues of peace with justice, non-violent action, pilgrimage and/or solidarity tours, and more recently the study of the Kairos Palestine document.
